Summer in Innsbruck

In Ellbögen, one of Innsbruck’s southern holiday villages, you can enjoy gentle exercise and vibrant culture in the Patscherkofel Vital Park, the unspoiled side valleys of the Wipptal and the Rosengarten nature reserve.

The legendary Zirbenweg (Stone Pine Trail) above Innsbruck is part of the Adlerweg (Eagle Walk) and runs from the Patscherkofel mountain to the Tulfeinalm mountain hut. It is an easy walk with incredible panoramic views and the highest-altitude botanical gardens in Europe. Countless circular hikes invite you to discover nature. The free mountain hiking programme with certified guides takes you to beautiful alpine pastures and scenic spots six times a week. You can look forward to a summit experience by crossing the valleys from Arztal to Viggartal. The mysterious Viggartal is home to the enormous “B´schriebenen Stoa” monolith, the Meissnerhaus guesthouse with its legendary tile stoves made of Meissen porcelain tiles as well as to blue lakes.

The countless signposted mountain bike trails at all altitudes range from easy family tours to fast downhill runs. The beautiful Lake Lans and Lake Natters offer entertainment for children as well as the perfect opportunity for a cool, refreshing dip. The views from the via ferrata and climbing parks are stunning.

Our three golf courses including Igls (9-hole), Lans (9-hole) and Rinn (18-hole) are situated on a sun terrace with a breathtaking panorama.
